Third Gulch / LOV Connection
The nearly 3-mile LOV Connection stitches two of Eagle's best riding zones together and pairs neatly with Third Gulch for either a bigger day or a tidy one-hour loop. From the Arroyo Drive trailhead you climb the Third Gulch doubletrack before turning onto LOV Connection, which winds through forgiving dirt in sagebrush-and-pinon high desert. LOV ends at the Abram's Gulch Connector, where a short climb puts you on Abram's Gulch and a fast, steep, twisting descent back into town. Ambitious riders can peel off partway down to climb Abram's Ridge, one of Eagle's toughest and most rewarding backcountry climbs.
